Roof construction is done in 2 ways :

  1. Single skin : Single metal sheet with underdeck insulation
  2. Double skin : Insulation is installed between two metal sheets, this is also called overdeck insulation

Underdeck

One of the major aspects of an underdeck insulation is weight. Heavy insulation increases the structural load on the system. As a result, it will increase the accessories and associated costs to support the insulation.

We have insulation for overdeck application which is generally used in specific PEB buildings and infrastructure projects like airports and railway stations.

In such cases, sometimes additional mechanical loads can be expected. Herein, we can offer high density glass wool or stone wool insulation as per customer’s requirement.

The external wall, being part of the building envelope, is exposed to solar heat gain. To reduce thermal transmission through the wall, a sufficient level of insulation is required to meet the minimum prescriptive values as per ECBC 2017.

For such requirements, we offer insulation in both roll and board forms with aesthetically appealing laminations.
